Browser testing

Been testing various browsers recently to see if any will make me switch from Firefox.  I’ve tried all the major ones Opera, Safari, IE8 and the latest Firefox Beta.

Whilst I loved the speed of Safari, I just couldn’t get on with the fact it’s got barely any plugins.  Opera was a little better with plugins but they actually appeared all over my desktop which was annoying.  IE8 had some real nice features, but was slow and from experience is liable to be vulnerable to any exploit that comes along.

Ultimately I’ve stuck with Firefox purely for the addons.  Things like Scribefire, Tab Mix plus (Which opens separate tabs automatically) and downthemall simply make using the Internet easier and quicker.
