Asshats

I’ve thought of a new category. Asshats. Quoted from the Urbandictionary

A person, of either gender, whose behavior displays such ignorance/obnoxiousness that you would like to make them wear their own ass as a hat.

The idea is that when I come across people who are displaying signs of being an Asshat i’ll post about it. Today I have 2 to write about.

  1. We all know about Handsfree kits especially the ones with the cable that you get with every phone. Connects to the phone, put the earbud into your ear and press the button to answer calls, simple. I’ve always thought the idea behind hands free was to be able to use your phone hands free, right? Well my first Asshat is some Asian teenager who was using her hands free, however instead of having the phone in her pocket she was holding it in her hand. OK so I can let that one go but she was also holding the handsfree mic to her mouth also, so in fact using all her hands?!?!? Clearly a complete Asshat
  2. As mentioned before I cycle to work. My next set of Asshats are to do with cycling. The first is people in cars who have no respect for the danger of cycling on the road and simply drive into you. Some complete Asshat was waiting to cross the road in their Rav4 as I was coming past and decided to just pull out right in front of me, causing me to almost hit them. Had it not been such a strong headwind and already tired i’d have chased after them and kicked this shit out of his doors (As my friend Dan likes to do). Next time I think i’ll muster some extra energy. On my cycle route there is a long but narrow bridge which you can just about squeeze a bike down if the a person that is walking stops and moves to the side. The other Asshat is someone who clearly isn’t moving as fast as my bike and pretends i’m not there (Even when they’ve seen me coming!) and won’t move out of the way. I’ve also got a solution to this too, verbal abuse.
