Quarter beast AKA shitloads of meat

In the old flat my ex housemate Stu used to buy Quarter beasts from the butcher. This is where a cow is raised then when big enough chopped up and you can buy it in quarters. There is a mixture of meat cuts including standard rumps to scotch fillets. There are also plenty of proper sausages which are like eating steaks in the form of a sausage. Heaps of premium mince as well.

The best thing is the price as we paid $307 nzd (About 126 quid) and have been eating it for a couple of weeks without denting it! Check out the freezer full of meat!

We’ve also become fond of cooking our own Kumara (Sweet potato) fries as they are the best type of fries EVER. 30mins or so in a pan with some oil is all that’s needed to create the classic steak ‘salad’.
